Writing Is Natural, Necessary

There are some people who are naturally teachers and writers. I am not saying that they are paid to do so, nor am I saying that they necessarily even meet the standards of those particular professions. Instead, I am saying that there is a part of their natures that compels them to write or to instruct or to communicate knowledge and information and even things like the proper criteria for making judgements or decisions in a particular situation.

Does that describe you? Good. It describes me also.

Join me. I will write here as I get the unallocated time and unspent energy to do so. Come back and read the things that I have written from time to time.

I am not a novelist. Long fiction is even hard for me to read, let alone write. I enjoy reading detective fiction. Yet, I do not expect to ever write that genre. I believe my strongest form is going to be the non-fiction expression of opinion known as the essay, so you should expect to see several such articles in time.

Hopefully, some others that I know will allow me to place samples of their writings here as well. These are not published authors, but individuals who have written things that I found moving.
